FAQs

Is there wild swimming and hiking nearby?

Yes it's a great location for both of those. There's a guide in the cottage to our favourite wild swimming spots and you can follow us on Komoot for lots of ideas of hikes to lakes, waterfalls and the wilds. We are on the western edge of the National Park and the southern edge of the Cambrian Mountains - both are off the beaten track and you can get right out into the wilds if you want to.

Is the cottage suitable for children?

Yes it is, but do please supervise them around the unfenced stream. Although they will of course love the paddling!

Can I bring my bike?

Absolutely - we are well placed for mountain biking and road cycling. We can offer secure lock-up, but there is also undercover storage and also a wash off for your bike at the cottage.

Is the hot tub private?

Yes. It is just for your use and is in the garden. Full instructions are included and it's a great spot for stargazing.

Is there a good local pub and places to eat?

Enjoy our foodie guide - some are local others are further afield and there's a good choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants.
