We feel as though we have stumbled upon the most special place at Penstacan, and so warmly welcomed by Duncan on an evening of the most amazing sky of stars. Our three nights here have been completely regenerating. In amongst cooking, music, hilly walks and a swim, the thoughtful and unique interiors of the Skyloft were just perfect. Really hoping we can come back sometime soon. What a wonderful reset, thank you so much. E&I

“We have just spent 3 nights at this very special place. We came to Glanyrafon to escape and switch off and that is exactly what we did! The cottage is set in the most idyllic surroundings and we really couldn't have asked for anything more! Just lazing in the garden with a glass of wine listening to the birds and the stream really was heaven! The cottage itself is charming, quirky and has been finished beautifully! We really felt at home! Tanya was a lovely host, super communication and really welcoming. The hot tub had been fired up for our arrival and the fresh eggs were amazing! Our only regrets are not booking an extra night and not exploring the area enough! We are hoping to return here in the summer as we had such a lovely time!”

“What a delight. The cottage was stylish, interesting, quirky ... and very comfortable - a truly special place. We came for rest and relaxation after my surgery and the cottage and area delivered on all counts. Sitting with a coffee by the stream listening the the babbling water, gentle strolls up the hillside and a delightful drive in the nearby hills, and then cosying up in front of the log burner. Bliss. Tanya and Duncan were great hosts. Looking forward to returning when I'm fit to explore the surrounding countryside on foot. ”

“We had a fabulous time at Glanyrafon. It was easy to find despite the remote location, and the surrounding scenery is stunning. We went on some gorgeous walks, the waterfall walk was my favourite and we are definitely planning a trip in summer to enjoy a picnic up there. The cottage itself is beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture and it is brimming with original features. We both slept so well, and the bath is amazing! The hot tub is also great to come home to after long walks (or short ones from the pub nearby). Thanks for having us and we hope to return soon!"

We had a lovely all too short stay in Skyloft – such a lovely place to just be – we enjoyed staying in when it rained sitting out with the stove and listening to the owls, watching the bats and just being. What a lovely welcome we had from Tanya & Duncan (and Huxley!) firest lit for us, flowers, chocolate so nice, kind details that made the stay even more special.

Wow! What an incredible place! We came here on our honeymoon and truly couldn’t have wished for a more peaceful, relaxing and luxury trip. From the treats left in the kitchen on arrival, to the beautiful hot tub ready for us, it really felt like nothing was too great an effort for our hosts welcoming us. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Glanyrafon. The cottage is really special, cosy, comfortable and beautiful. The location of the property is truly magical - the most fabulous walks directly from the cottage and in three days out in the countryside, we barely saw another person. The hot tub was gorgeous, Tanya was so friendly and helpful and the house was well appointed with everything we needed. It really was a perfect weekend and the most lovely cottage we have ever booked. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this lovely place.

Having stayed at Glanyrafon and loved it we couldn't wait to check out the Skyloft. What a gorgeous place. I can't believe how peaceful it is, how cosy it feels and I just love that little bedroom! Thanks so much to Duncan and Tanya for creating such a lovely place.

What an amazing place to stay. We have loved our time in the Skyloft - total relaxation and total escape. Tanya & Duncan are the perfect hosts, they have made us very welcome it's been a pleasure meeting you both. The local pubs are very friendly and food is good. We will definitely be back.

Great escape! The Reading Room has been a lovely cosy and peaceful place to stay and a great base from which to explore the surrounding countryside. We made good use of the map and suggested walks. A lovely mini break

We stayed in Skyloft last year and knew we had to cone back this very special place again soon. Skyloft in the autumn is particularly lovely - so cosy! We'll be coming back soon (not least for the Welsh cakes that are always here to welcome you with! G&J
