Immerse yourself in the wood fired hot tub, under the ancient oak tree – keep your eyes peeled for our resident dippers, kingfisher and firecrests.

If you love to sit out stargazing, you’ll enjoy the gorgeous fire pit keeping you toasty while you keep watch for shooting stars in the spectacular night skies. You may spot Mrs Tiggwinkle in the twilight hours, who bustles through at night.

Soak away your cares in the gorgeous clawfoot bath, complete with wine shelf, and fall asleep in a comfy bed to the sound of the bubbling stream.

There are two luxurious bathrooms and the downstairs garden bedroom can be made up as a twin or a double.

Please note that the stream is not fenced off and children, dogs and adventurous adults are best supervised at all times.

Why New York?

There used to be a cottage at the top of our land here at Penstacan called New York and another in the village called Pennsylvania. There was a saying that Cilycwm is 'only as big as New York to Pennsylvania'. A local historian friend told us the story and encouraged us to preserve the history and keep the name, so we did.
